The big draw in these practices is to get away from only going to the doctor when you’re sick, instead going regularly: receiving education and real-time adjustments based on how things are going with you. It does have a distinctly higher cost. But, as we’ll hear, it balances out with standard insurance rates if you are the average person who perhaps just needs insurance for an emergency, and wants more frequent care from a primary physician.
